The one question that keeps coming at me from, probably, 60% of our clients is: “How can I make my hair grow?”
My answer is always the same: nutrition; maintenance and care.

Nutrition:
Like everything in our bodies, the healthier we are, the more efficiently everything works. And that’s the same with hair. Eating properly and/or taking the right combination of vitamins can have a huge impact on your hair. Looking for glossy locks? The essentials are B vitamins such as Biotin (B7) and Niacin (B3), and vitamin C. As well as improving your hair health, Biotin helps the body metabolise fats and carbs and has been linked to improved nervous system function. Niacin boosts hair growth. Just remember – never take more than your recommended daily allowance.

Maintenance:
Regularly trimming the ends will stop your hair splitting, and a 6-8-week ‘dusting’ will help your hair grow as efficiently as possible.

Care:
Looking after your hair is the most important part of growing it, so go easy on the heat. Straightening or curling with intense heat really takes its toll on our hair, so heat protection is a must. We love Schwarzkopf Professional Osis Flatliner.
Make sure your shampoo, conditioner and treatments are high quality and the correct ones for your hair.
Pop into our Cheltenham or Gloucester salons and our award-winning team will prescribe a hair range especially for you.

Let’s get those gorgeous locks growing.
