It's all about the hair accessory...

It’s going to be the summer of accessorising our locks. Whether it’s a ring braid or stacked barrettes, I think there will be a lot of variations going on. But one thing’s for sure… the floral crown of last spring/summer is about to be replaced with the tiara.

Five days, five ways....a London shoot for Hair magazine.

I was asked to hot-foot it to London to work on a photographic story on how to create five different looks for five days of the week. This can sometimes be a tall order, because it’s all about creating looks that you can easily do yourself.

A week of magazine shoots - and charity work

It’s been a week of great contrasts here at Cream. Yesterday, our Artistic Director Dean Brindley was in London, working on a shoot for Hair magazine.
The brief was five days, five ways and Dean, along with Hannah Evans, who manages Cream’s Training Academy, spent all day creating five amazing long-hair looks for the glossy mag.

    All hail the bob

It’s probably the most iconic and recognisable hair styles of all time. The 15th Century martyr, saint and military leader Joan of Arc sported an early version, along with that wilfully independent, asp-loving Egyptian minx Cleopatra.

The Spring/Summer Haute Couture Show in Paris is my favourite of all the fashion weeks.
It never fails to put on the most elaborately-staged runway shows, showcase the most incredible designs and, of course, amazingly diverse hair.

You know how it is….one day, one celebrity rocks one new look – and the next minute it’s all over social media.
    And we all want it.

The one question that keeps coming at me from, probably, 60% of our clients is: “How can I make my hair grow?”
My answer is always the same: nutrition; maintenance and care.

Last weekend, it was time for the fashion elite to take centre stage – only this time it was time it was all about the men.
London Fashion Week Men’s continues to showcase the very best creative and design talent around the world through runway shows, presentations, installations, dinners and parties.
