Last weekend Cream were lucky enough to get an invite to a unique event. Set in a dis-used warehouse in Balham London, Schwarzkopf Professional hosted the first of its kind pop up event. Colour World London UK concept was born and brought to life for hundreds of invited hairdressers from all over the country. It’s the first opportunity anyone in the industry has to show colour off at a cool, hybrid event. Schwarzkopf Professional loves innovation, so this is perfect place for us to be; it’s up close and personal, educational and inspirational.
With so many industry greats in one room it was hard to know who to see first. Award winning artists from the UK Hooker & Young, as well as Bundy Bundy from Austria, and Schwarzkopf’s Lesley Jennison were invited to showcase the eclectic and premium performance Igora colour portfolio. The audience enjoyed the chance to stand alongside as they worked in a setting as intimate as a salon. Rarely will us hairdressers ever have such an awesome opportunity.
With so much fantastic colour creations taking place and with the originality of the look, learn, interact vibe of the day we took the opportunity to have a conversation with these award-winning hairdressers and learn more about their passions, visions and most importantly their hints, tips and future trend predictions.
We thoroughly loved our colour world experience and we had plenty of information to share to our teams on our return. This event really has confirmed that there is a true hair colour explosion happening right before our eyes!! Hair colour encourages us stylist to become inner artists and our clients are our amazing canvases…
