"Oh What A Night"...

Last weekend saw cream celebrate with our annual salon awards and in-salon hair competition The Cream Creative Challenge. All our staff are put together to showcase their creative side and compete against each other in a themed, total look, inspired showdown of fashion inspired looks with the emphasis on classic colour and cutting techniques displaying creams ethos of “beautiful hair day after day”…
With our senior staff competing in creams Most Wanted and all our younger team in Young Artist of The Year categories, the pressure was really on to dazzle the judges with their creative know-how. Our fabulous guest judges Lara Boot and Vicky Goldsworthy are both esteemed hairdressing industry greats and are both salon owners and regular award winning ladies, so we were in safe hands with them casting their judging decisions on us. The competition took place in our Gloucester salon and the the heat was on to create their amazing looks in just 60 minutes. After the judging took place we all made our way to The Queens Hotel in Cheltenham for our annual awards ceremony. This year was an extra special celebration as cream celebrated 10 years of business in our flagship salon in St Aldate Street. So what better way than to cement 10 years of incredible hair in our beautiful salon than to celebrate in style with an evening at The Queens…
With all our team assembled for a red carpet entrance and joined by their models, family and friends the night began in opulent style with a drinks reception in the beautiful hotel followed by a Schwarzkopf Essential Looks inspired hair demonstration by our management team to really start the night of in style. A fun packed evening full of dancing, dinner and free flowing drinks were had by all, and culminating in the announcement of our two award winners Jo Hall from the Gloucester salon taking home the trophy for Most Wanted and Louise Wright from Cheltenham salon awarded Cream Young Artist of the Year. Also taking home annual achievement awards were Holly Steele for Customer Service Excellence, Louise Wright for ISA trainee of the year, Jess Foxworthy for Retail Excellence, Aimee Overthrow for Team Player of the Year and Jasmine Pearce for Newcomer of the Year.
