With sizzling temperatures predicted for the next few weeks, we can safely say Summer is upon us!! Hopefully by now you have your summer wardrobe nailed, sandals at the ready and hip hooraying at the heat… but if you haven’t yet switched up to your summer wardrobe then follow these simple style rules and you can’t go wrong…
There has been a raft of A-list style inspiration these last few weeks from Victoria Beckham being spotted in a crisp blue shirt to Ashley Olsen’s new minimal take on boho… A huge trend for every summer is always White, but this year take a fresh new approach and opt for an all white look but keep an element of contrasting nude or very pale blue thrown into the mix… Team an over sized shirt with a close cut pencil skirt for contrasting proportions and to take your office day look into a balmy night look… New Boho (old Boho was a mega trend in the late 90’s, loved by everyone) is minimal and less floaty. Great for travelling, festival season or that laid back summer get together, keep it simple, classic and pared-back mixing embroidered maxi skirts with a classic white t-shirt or vest… and rounding off this trend is teaming pretty with punk! It’s all about the ‘Shacket’ (shirt jacket, essential key wardrobe piece) in plaid check, worn with a floral print skirt, gold jewellery and a huge tote bag…
Victoria, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Jessica Alba are great style ambassadors for this summers All White trend but what’s the one thing they all have in common (apart from impeccable wardrobe choices of course)… it’s this summers soft, tousled hair!! Worn by all of them in varying lengths, but all with the same minimal amount of product and super soft texture, it’s the look of the season and it couldn’t be easier to create… All you need is Schwarzkopf session label Salt Texturising Spray, spritzed into damp hair and lightly diffused dried, for that barely there blow-dry look. Worn loose in the day, then centre parted and worn in a simple ponytail at night this look couldn’t be simpler…
