All about Brondes....

So last week we found out what to wear for Spring 2015 so this time it’s all about what hair colour to put that spring in your step… and the ‘it’ colour of the season (if not the whole year) is Bronde = that perfect colour between blonde and brown!! As seen on every Hollywood A-lister and every supermodel that perfect, nude, deep caramel, camel colour dark blonde to ever so pale light brown without any red or copper tones is the colour choice being coveted by nearly every female in the land…
With summer bleached blondes feeling a little flat and icy this is the perfect cross over for any one thinking of a change. Being Bronde will still keep you light and bright without taking you back to your dreaded natural colour and injecting some depth and richness to pale, lightened ends. It’s a simple formula keep the Bronde base to up to two shades lighter than your natural colour and keep the tone cooler rather than warmer! This translates as soft taupes or beiges for natural blondes and cool caramel, latte shades for natural brunettes.
Finding the perfect shade will flatter the skin tone, add light and shade all in one hair colour session, it’s perfect for subtle re growth as you don’t get the awkward dark roots in four weeks and your left with a beautiful, bespoke soft hair shade that can then be made lighter on the transition into summer or if your feeling brave to go deeper and darker to embrace being a brunette. Team the Bronde base colour with the face-framing Balayage technique were soft lights are added with a freehand formation rather than traditional solid block highlights, for a multi-tonal honey blonde, minky brown mane….
