In a new series of weekly guest blogs, Artistic Director Dean Brindley has asked Hannah, Cream’s senior stylist from Cheltenham, to write about her favourite look of the moment.

I love a short hair style because I think it’s brave, feminine and fun. It can be a very versatile style, just like long hair.
Even creating a short style is fun because it allows me to be creative and get zoned in to my work here in the Cheltenham salon.
I love the texture and shape you can create, whether you want volume or smooth and sleek.

Some of my favourite short styles are ones that have shocked, just because I think they look so much better – think Harry Potter’s Emma Watson, pop queen Rhianna and actresses Charlize Theron and Anne Hathaway.

Let’s not forget the amazing Dame Judi Dench. 007’s M wouldn’t have been nearly so formidable with flowing locks….
